Sylfide cultivates the Nordic cultural heritage and embraces the present with feminine strength and sensitivity. The electroacoustic universe combines the Scandinavian folk music with modern songwriting and Danish lyrics, that centers around relevant topics like climate change, femininity and mental health. 

The melodies draw inspiration from ancient ballads and folk dances and are wrapped in smooth synth pads, spherical harp sounds, strings and the sounds of dancing feet. 

The four musicians are already well-known by the Danish folk- and jazzscene from bands like Hvalfugl, Tailcoat, Nevesta's Voice and Mads Hansens Kapel and with Sylfide they push the boundaries of their musical roots. 

In 2022 Sylfide received the award for both 'New Artist' and 'Best Track' at Danish Music Awards Roots.
