Mads hansens kapel to open nordic folk alliance 2024

We’re happy to welcome the renowned danish band Mads Hansens Kapel to open the conference! Of course we will still have a lot of speeches and networking going on, but this main act will ´make sure that you will get your - maybe first acquaintance - with the Nordic dance traditions. They will get you dancing, but they will also give you a hell of concert with the own way of honoring the traditions as well as showing how you can take a contemporary grip on the danish heritage.

The danish kvintet is one of the newer waves of danish folk bands and have been on the road in several countries across the Western Hemisphere from US to southern europe.
