ROSKILDE, DENMARK

Nordic Folk Alliance is the largest annual meeting place for the Nordic Folk community and the industry surrounding it. The event focuses on music from the Nordic countries, and welcomes delegates from across the globe. During the event you can hear the music at showcase concerts, and expand your network and knowledge at seminars and talks - and there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with new and old friends.

“Over the last number of years NFA has emerged as a pivotal meeting point for the Nordic folk, traditional and roots music industry. NFA is a network generator event that cements and helps grow links between the Nordic Folk industry, both in the Nordic countries and with the North American market. It is unique in presenting a diverse range of music across a broad genre-including indigenous music and acts from ethnic minorities making the conference a strong platform that celebrates tradition and heritage in a resolutely contemporary and inclusive way.”

Laia Canals Kverneland, Chairwoman of Nordic Folk Alliance and Interim General Manager at Tempi’

“Nordic Folk Alliance was our first International showcase festival, and it set the bar high! This gathering gave us a chance to connect with wonderful people from different areas of the music industry from around the world in a comfortable setting. Being at Nordic Folk Alliance as showcasing artists resulted in many new friends and colleagues that we’ll work together with for many years to come, and multiple International gigs for us that same year!”

Mattias Thedens, Band leader at Gangar
